America’s Next Top Model Contestant Sarah Hartshorne Reveals Her Favorite Makeup Looks

We first saw Sarah Hartshorne on cycle 9 of America’s Next Top Model, where she charmed Tyra Banks and the judges with her stunning facial features that made a picture come alive. Today, she’s signed with New York-based IPM Model Management and regularly books beauty and commercial jobs.

Inspired by Sarah’s beautiful green eyes and the winter season, makeup artist, Holly Corsano, decided to use a silvery-blue shade for the eyes and neutral colors for the lips to magnify Sarah’s natural beauty and still give the look a cool tone.

Sarah’s favorite going out makeup is an interesting take on the smokey eye, like the icy look here or a more muted, brown palette. Her lipstick of choice is usually a nice nude shade that doesn’t detract from her eye makeup.

Modeling was something Sarah stumbled into with the show and is still keeping an open mind and feeling her way along. What she has her mind set to is acting, as this is what she had originally set out to do. She loves big editorial spreads that tell a story and she’d love to add more of those to her modeling portfolio. As one of the “plus-size” girls on the show, Sarah loves to see girls with curves on the runway. To her, Mark Fast’s 2009 show was proof that you can have curves in fashion without sacrificing that unattainable, fantasy-like feeling.
